Well, like most computer geeks, I’m running a little home network.

I’ve just added a second-hand Cisco Catalyst 5509 Network Switch to the mix. I really only bought it cos it was cheap, and it’ll be a great tool to tinker, learn and practice on. Will also be useful for LAN parties. I already have a neat little 150KG platform trolley to move it around on.

And here’s a pic of my current network setup. Still no Gigabit
